Cultural Events & Special Academic Programs’ (CESAP) mission is to provide programming and services that serve as a bridge connecting our campus community of students, staff and faculty to our local, state, regional, national and international communities through the arts and non-credit academic programs.
Support and work with faculty, staff and students to provide deep, diverse and multifaceted cultural experiences.

Performing and Visual Arts
REAL Events Series (Rediscovering Entertainment, Arts & Learning)
We present 5 to 9 major touring performing artists between September and April. We also support many other campus arts performances and presentations throughout the year and often collaborate with other area arts venues and presenters.
Super Saturday Program
Six-week Saturday morning academic enrichment program for 3rd-8th graders every Spring and Fall with course topics including Foreign Languages, Theatre, Physics, Art, Technology, and many more.
Camps, Conferences and Institutes
Hosting residential summer groups and events from 10-500 people including:
- Bread Loaf School of English
- Nike Running Camp
- Council on Public Liberal Arts Colleges
- Asheville Chamber Music Experience
- and many more
