From Bonnaroo to "Prairie Home Companion," Kittel is foremost among a new breed of fiddlers and violinists who easily navigate a multitude of musical styles and traditions. Kittel has a master's degree in jazz violin, was a violinist for the Grammy-winning classical favorite Turtle Island String Quartet, and has branched out into bluegrass and beyond to perform with musical giants such as Mark O'Connor, Bela Fleck, Edgar Meyer, Chris Thile, Darol Anger, and alt-rock band My Morning Jacket. Kittel will be accompanied by his hand-picked band of dynamic young performers on mandolin, cello and more.

If you miss the last 10:30 p.m. shuttle from Diana Wortham Theatre back to campus, consider the following alternative options:
The ART Station on Coxe Avenue closes at 10:00 p.m. Anyone needing a ride back to campus after 10:00 p.m. can catch the 11:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. bus on Patton Ave. at Haywood St. across from Pritchard Park.
If students need to get back to campus after 12:00 a.m., they can use the ERC program. To request an ERC taxi ride, a student must call New Blue Bird Taxi 828.258.833, and identify themselves as a UNC Asheville student.
